Keith Haring record tote
A record tote in heavy-duty 100% cotton canvas, carrying two Keith Haring works, one on each side. The front features the dancing figures of Dance for Life, the benefit presented by Chicago Dancers United: Haring's joyful, interlocking bodies, the motif he used again and again to turn dance into a symbol of community and life. The reverse carries the iconic DJ dog, his barking-dog figure down at the turntables, a nod to the record-bar culture his line first came out of. The floor on one side, the booth on the other.
It's built for the job as well as the print, cut to fit 12-inch sleeves flat and made to carry up to 25 records without the handles giving out. Part of the AM x Keith Haring capsule, licensed by the Keith Haring Foundation.
AM x Keith Haring
A meeting of sound and art that came from the same dancefloors. Keith Haring drew his unmistakable line out of New York's early 1980s club scene, the Mudd Club and the Paradise Garage, where Larry Levan's records mattered as much as anything on the walls. We've brought that work to a small range of vinyl care essentials and accessories, made for people who take both their records and their walls seriously. Each piece is licensed by the Keith Haring Foundation.
