Cassette cleaner

Every cassette you play leaves a little behind. Tape sheds oxide as it runs, and it builds up exactly where it matters most: on the heads and the path the tape travels. Left there, it dulls the top end, brings dropouts and muffling, and can transfer back onto your tapes.

The cassette cleaner is the easiest way to deal with it. There's nothing to dismantle and no reaching inside the machine: you simply play it like a normal cassette and let it clean the path the tape actually runs. The non-abrasive cleaning tape and a few drops of fluid lift the residue a dry tape would only push around, without harming the heads or pinch roller. Used regularly, it keeps a deck playing clearly and stops a dirty machine from wearing on a collection you can't replace.

It's as easy as playing a tape.
